The works invite the viewer into a threshold between reality and dreamscape, informed by the symbolic language of nature, where meaning is sensed, not explained.
The works are not meant to be understood intellectually, but experienced, allowing their message to be received directly by the unconscious of the observer.
Sajia Atashgard
Born in 1998 in Afghanistan, Sajia migrated to Stockholm at the age of six. During this formative period, her sensibility for art became a defining force in her life and work. She is a self-taught artist and an architect holding a Masterβs degree in Architecture from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
In her architectural practice, she sees space as a medium where reality can unfold.
In her artistic practice, she mediates dreams and visions, allowing the brush to move freely and images to reveal themselves, taking on a life of their own.
